Your Cruise
Your Cruise begins on beautiful Sydney Harbour, departing either Darling Harbour or Circular quay for your convenience.
Each cruise is approximately 2-4 hours (please check our Trips and Rates for the exact times at each pickup and dropoff).
In less than 20 minutes we are exiting the heads and into whale watching waters. Our experienced crew will instruct you on how to spot the whales just like the early whaling boats did for 100s of years. Be the first on board to shout thar she blows
and feel the excitement when we spot our first pod of the cruise.
We then manoeuvre the vessel into our whale watching position, giving you a detailed commentary so you can feel as close to these wondrous ocean dwellers as possible.
You now have a choice of two whale watching experiances!
Whale watching Discovery On Ocean Dreaming
This is the full experience out with the whales, the most comfortable boat with the best viewing, a half day cruise to spend the maximum amount of time with the whales, with all the facilities.
Throughout the cruise we have complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. Also available on board at our refreshment bar are more substantial snacks and drinks and don't forget to grab a souvenir of your day with the whales.
Then it's a fast, comfortable ride back along our magnificent coastline to enter Sydney Harbour just as Captian Phillip did in 1788. Seeing the sights of the harbour as we make our way back to the dock.
What to Bring
- Warm clothes - winter on the water can be cold when standing outside viewing the whales.
- Camera - the whales are spontaneous so have your finger ready at any time.
- Sun glasses - even in winter there is a lot of glare off the water.
Whale watching Adventure On Totally Wild
For the more Adventurous or the young at heart, why not jump on board 'Totally Wild', Sydney's newest and fastest whale watching experience.
Your adventure whale watching cruise begins at Darling harbour and in less than 20mins you are out the heads and off to see the whales, this trip is perfect for those that only have a limited amount of time or are into the adventure!
Then it's an exhilarating, exciting ride back along our magnificent coastline to enter Sydney Harbour just as Captian Phillip did in 1788 (but a lot faster).
What to Bring
- Warm clothes - winter on the water can be cold especially at 60km per hour.
- Warm beanie or tie on Hat - most of your body heat is lost thru the head and a normal peak cap may fly off
- Spray/waterproof Jacket - to keep you dry in case of rain or sea spray
- Camera - the whales are spontaneous so have your finger ready at any time but make sure it is protected against spray.
- Sun glasses - even in winter there is a lot of glare off the water.
General Suggestions
Eat sensibly before you travel
Bring seasick remedy or medication and take it before the cruise, even on the calmest days, its better to be prepared!
